PLITVICE LAKES

The Plitvice Lakes National Park, Croatia's most popular tourist attraction,located roughly halfway between cities, Zagreb and Zadar.
The beauty of the National Park lies in its sixteen lakes, inter-connected by a series of waterfalls, and set in deep woodland populated by deer, bears, wolves, boars, and rare birds species. The National Park covers a total area of 300 kilometer2, whilst the lakes join over together over a distance of 8 kilometers.

MacArthur Burney Fall


  California,USA

MacArthur Burney Fall is the centerpiece of MaacArthur Burney Memorial State Park, which is located 6 miles north of Burney, California.
The 129-foot waterfall is the main attraction of the park. Each day 100 million gallons of water flow over the falls. Additional water comes from springs, joining to create a mist-filled basin. Black swifts nest in the cliff behind the falls, and rare nests of bald eagles can be seen along the shore line of Lake Britten. The park has six miles of hiking trails through evergreen forest. Lake Britten offers water sport activities.

MULTNOMAH FALLS



     Oregon, USA

This magnificent waterfall is located just a 30-minute drive of Portland.
It is a 611 foot-tall roaring, awe-inspiring cascade of icy water. According to Native American lore, Multomah Falls was created to win the heart of a young princess who wanted a hidden place to bathe. For a closer view, walk several hundred feet up the paved trail to reach Benson Bridge. Standing on the bridge  you have a perfect view of the top tier's 542-foot height and the second tier's 69-foot droop.

RUSSELL FALLS



     Tasmania, Australia

The Russell Falls is located in the Central Highlands region of Tasmania, Australia.
On the eastern boundary of Mount Field National Park, 100 meters downstream of the horseshoe Falls. Mt. Field National Park is Tasmania's first national park,with stunning vistas, great walks, abundant wildlife and excellent visitor facilities. Visiting Russell Falls is a short, wheelchair accessible journey from the visitor center,  through enormous fem forests and some of the world's tallest trees. Russell Falls is also featured on Australia's first stamp.

DETIAN WATERFALL



      China

Detian waterfall is Asia's largest transnational waterfall, as it crosses the boundary between China and Vietnam, covering around 145 kilometer, and joins with the Ban Gioc waterfall in Vietnam. It goes through three terraces as it flows on high. Below the waterfall is a deep pool to a width of more 200 meters and a depth of over 30 meters. There are a large number of big fishes in the pool and the fish meat is a very delicious. So, the villagers, who live there often come to the pool to catch fish.

HAVASU FALLS



         Arizona, USA

   Havasu Falls is Paradise on Earth.
This is absolutely amazingly beautiful waterfall located in a remote of Arizona, USA.
It is a beautiful double waterfall along Havasu Creek, falling into a crystal clear pool, perfect for swimming on a hot day. The vibrant blue water contrasts against the striking red rocks of the canyon walls as Havasu Falls plunges nearly 100 feet into a wide pool of blue-green waters. CaCO3 and Mg occur naturally in the waters of Havasu Creek. Havasu Falls and Havasu Creek get their blue color from the Mg in the water. As the creek originates from a spring, the water rarely from 70F year round.

ESTANCIA MIMOSA ECOTOURISM falls

Estancia Mimosa Ecotourism is located 24 kilometers from the city of Bonito, Brazil.
The Estancia Mimosa is bathed by Rio Mimosa and is very know for natural beauties, trails and waterfalls. The activity here starts with walk,which is composed of stops for bath in natural pools and waterfalls of different sizes (close to 08 waterfalls). Along the way, there are small caves, a diving platform and viewpoints with privileged view to the mountains of the Bodoquena Sierra.

GULLFOSS FALLS


       Iceland

Gullfoss means translated " Gollden Falls" and is one of Iceland's most beautiful and most popular waterfall. Gullfoss is in the River Hvlta (White River).
Which has its origin in the glacier lake, Hvitavatn. About a kilometer above the falls it turns sharply to the right and flows down into a wide curved three-step "staircase" and than abruptly plunges in two stages ( 11 meter and 21 meter) into  a crevice 32 meter deep. The average amount of water running over this waterfall is 140 m3/s in the summertime and 80 m3/s in the wintertime. The highest flood measured was 2000 m3/s.

ANGEL FALLS



       Venezuela

  Angel Falls is located in the Guayana highlands, and it is just one of the five great adventage regions in Venezuela.
The water comes in a free fall of 979 meters from the Churum River, the height makes it the highest waterfall in world. Angel Falls is 15 time higher than Niagara Falls. This fall is named for Jimmy Angel, an Adventurous pilot from Missoun, United State who saw the waterfall for first time in (1933) while searching for McCracken River of Gold, or th Golden City.

NIAGRA FALLS

   Niagra Falls is the collective name for three waterfalls that straddle the international border between Canada and The United State.
From largest to smallest, the three waterfalls are the horseshoe Fall, the American falls and the Bridal Veil Falls. The Horseshoe Falls lie on the Canadian side and the American Falls entirely on the American side, separated by Goat Island. More than six million cubic feet (168,000 m3) of water falls over the crest line every minute in high flow. The Niagra Falls are renowned both for their beauty and as a valuable source of hydroelectric power.

VICTORIA FALLS


    Zimbabwe

Victoria Falls is located on the Zimbabwe River the fourth River in Africa.
Victoria Falls in the only waterfall in the World with a length of more than a kilometer and a height of more than 100 meters. It is also considered to be the largest fall in the World.
The noise of Victoria Falls can be heard from a distance of 40 kilometers, while the spray and mist from the falling water is rising to a height of over 400 meters. No wonder that the local tribes used to call the waterfall Mosi-o-Tunya "The smoke that thunders". Scottish explorer, David Livingstone named it after Queen Victoria.

IGUAZU FALL


      Brazil

The exquisite Iguazu Fall originate from the Iguazu River and are locate on the border of Brazil and Argentine. It was officially discovered in 1541, when the European explorer, the Spanish Conquistador Alvar Nufiez Cabeza de Vaca, came across its awe-inspiring beauity. The Iguazu Falls stretch in width 2.7 kilometer. Their height varies between 60 meters and 80 meters. This makes the Iguaza Falls taller than Niagara Falls twice as wide. The Iguazu Falls have been used as backdrop for many films, including Happy Together (1997), Miami Vice (2006), Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull (2008).
